Very solid and comfortable sofa of an oak frame with thick feather or down filled corduroy cushions. The frame and webbing are in solid condition. The corduroy upholstery could be redone as this shows wear to some places and some spots to other places. The feather fillings are good and can be re-used to get the same comfort. The seat is quite low, which was common at the time. We think this sofa is inspired on the model 'Bastiano' by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Gavina, Italy. Or maybe it is an early variety of the model.
