The AJ Eklipta lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959 for Rødovre Town Hall. He originally designed the light in two sizes: ø 35 cm and ø 45 cm, and later, in 1963, a smaller version of ø 21 cm for St. Catherine's College in Oxford. This lamp is made of white opal handblown glass and gives soft and comfortable light. It is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
