We have been told that this shelf was purchased in the 1960's at the Bijenkorf, a high end department store. It features a black metal frame with white shelves, 2 back panels and the top shelf is to place plants. The unit can not be dismantled as all shelves are mounted with rivets. We have seen some of these units before and these were all mounted like this. The unit is in a good condition with signs of age and use. Some damage to the lacquer at places. A very goodlooking midcentury modernist industrial design bookcase.
