This armchair was designed by Ettore Sottsass for Olivetti Synthesis, the Olivetti Group company specializing in the office furniture sector. It is part of the 45 series that was developped between 1970 and 1972 with writing desks, chairs, armchairs, drawers, filing cabinets and various accessories, all these products were part of a revolutionary furnishing system of that time. The chair is made out of an acrylic seat and metal base, all in the same dark/wine red colour. It is in a good condition, with smaller signs of age and use. A true collectors item. Seat height: 45 cm
