This beautiful shaped pendant lamp has a large blue glass exterior shade and a smaller white glass interior shade. It is nicely finished with a brass fixture. It looks very much like the designs of Tapio Wirkkala. An special piece to have in your room that will definitely start conversation. The lamp is in a very good condition with very minor signs of age and use. It is documented in the Indoor catalogue of 1967 with no designer mentioned. Indoor was the Dutch importer of modern Italian and Scandinavian lighting companies and designers such as Hans Agne Jakobssen, Gino Sarfatti and others. The company of indoor also imported other midcentury design such as tableware by Arabia from Finland that is now owned by Ittala. Ittala was producer of glass lighting design by Tapio Wirkkala.
