This icon in lighting design is a design from 1968, by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar. This specific light is an earlier production in a very good condition. It can be used as a table lamp or as a wall lamp. The heavy white lacquered metal square does have a opening to hang it to the wall but is also heavy enought to stand on its own. The Circle light or TC6 is one of the most famous designs by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and is part of the collection of MoMa in New York and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, among others.
