This R-13 Candela spot light by Raak is made of a  black lacquered base with an aluminum/metal shade. Because of the ball-and-socket joint the lamp can be adjusted in any position and mounted to the wall, or ceiling. It could be used as a reading light or to highlight some objects. A version of this light is documented in the Raak Catalogue no. 5 (1962), page 113. This lamp is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
