This wastepaper basket is the more rare version of the designs by Einar Barnes for P.S. Heggen from Norway. The basket is in a very good condition considering age and use with some signs of age to the upper edge, some loss of veneer such as pictured. This design is different from the more common baskets by Einar Barnes that have two handles. The ones with one handle are hard to be found. The basket is marked on the inside, as pictured.
