This chair, model 4875 was designed by Carlo Bartoli for Kartell in the early 1970's. It has a single seat-backrest unit with four screwable legs that made it the world’s first single polypropylene seat piece to be injection moulded. This chair was nominated for the 1979 Compasso D’Oro, and since 2000 it has been added to the permanent collection of the National Arts Museum – Centre Pompidou (Paris), and of the Kartell Museum (Milano). A great chair that can be used both indoor and outdoor. We have 3 of these red versions available, all in a solid condition with some discoloration to parts on some chairs and all have their signs of use. We also have black and white versions available on our website. Seat height: 43 cm.
