This beautiful blue ceramic bowl, from the iconic 'Rimini Blu' series, was designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi in Italy in the 1960's. He was inspired by the colors of the sea. The decoration was engraved by hand with various recurring patterns stencilled on raw clay, under glossy blue crystalline glaze. It is marked and numbered at the bottom and in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
