This wall lamp, model Balance C-1550, was designed by Bertrand Balas for Raak at about 1968. Bertrand Balas was an architect from Toulouse. His most well-known design is probably the 'Springfontein' lamp. This Balance lamp is a very nice brass colored wall lamp with a fine-grained structure. It gives a nice warm light and both are in a very good condition with signs of age and use. Documented in the Raak catalogue no 8, page 5
