The design of this brutalist pendant lamp is often attributed to the Finnish designer Nanny Still-McKinney with manufacturing by Raak Amsterdam. This is not the case, but the true source/designer/manufacturer has never been really revealed with good documentation. Some options are Philips and Peil und Putzler. Nevertheless have these lights and many other models like it found great appreciation in the 1970's in Holland and Belgium. The metal alway in these colors and the glass that bubbles out, in orange and yellow and other colors. It has an oxidised metal shade with blown amber glass inserts that give a very warm light effect. This lamp is in a very good condition with hardly any signs of age and use.
