Recently two exhibitions have been held in museums in the Netherlands on the work of Constant Nieuwenhuys , Cobra museum and Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. The exhibition at the CoBrA museum showed two shelves, in yellow and red.
Nieuwenhuys has made a few designs for interior items for the company of 't Spectrum. His most famous work is the 'IJhorst' coffee table. The book on 'T Spectrum, by 010 publishers, also shows another design of Nieuwenhuys, being this wall rack.
This was made in a few different colors, such as these yellow and black versions. Very rare and true collectors items or even more so, museum pieces.
