The DSC 106 chair is a famous design classic and was designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in the 1960's. It is a very functional and longlasting chair. The beech veneer back and bottom of this set was reupholstered with with a very cool cowhide leather. Originally the chairs were upholstered in fabric. The chairs are in a good condition with some signs of age and use. One can see some discoloration at the back of the chairs and staple traces at the bottoms and backs from the original fabric, giving it all a rough look and feel. The metal frames are in a solid condition with signs from age. The chairs are stamped on the frame by the manufacturer “JSC Castelli Italy.” Seat height: 45 cm.
