This beautiful dining table is the more rare model TU31. It was designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the 1960's. These days this series often go by the name of 'Japanese Series'. Thanks to a clever sliding construction, the top can be extended from 157 to 216 cm. The extra top disappears underneath the large top when slid back in its original position. The table has a teak top in a very good condition. The large top has been superficially restored and lacquered. The frame shows signs of age and use such as some paintloss.
