This is a very decorative vintage ceramic tile made by Helmut Schäffenacker (son of the painter Otto Schäffenacker) in Germany in the 1960's. It has a cubistic and abstract 'still life' decor with 2 bottles and a glass in a beautiful blue/green color. It is marked at the back with 'Schäffenacker, made in Germany, handgemalt, 586". This tile is in a good condition with minor signs of age and use (some small chiploss to edge).
