This 4-sided workbench was produced by the company Nooitgedagt from IJlst, The Netherlands. The Nooitgedacht & Zonen NV company was founded in 1865. The company was the biggest producer of wooden ice-skates and produced wooden toys for decades. However they were most specialized in producing hand (building)tools of metal and wood. Because of the excellent quality of its products, the company was allowed to add the designation "Royal" to its name in 1965. This rare and rugged workbench is in a very good condition and can be used as a dining table, a more professional setting or as a showpiece to create ambience in a suitable room. A true piece of Dutch industrial history. We have 1 of these tables available (1 sold) in original condition from its workplace.
