The 'Tulip' dining chair was designed by Maurice Burke for Arkana in England in the early 1960's. It is an iconic Space Age design, inspired by the Eero Saarinen design for Knoll from the late 1950's. The chair is made of a firm white plastic seat and white lacquered metal base. It can rotate and comes with soft cushions. This is a set of 2 chairs with armrests that is in a good solid condition, with signs of age and use to base and shells. Seat height: 48 cm
