This beautiful and elegant brass chandelier was designed by Angelo Gaetano Sciolari for S.A. Boulanger in Belgium in the 1970's. Sciolari was inspired by the atomic structure (for example the Belgian Atomium) and the contemporary modernist architectural influences including Cubism, geometry and the 'Space Age' influences. This chandelier has 9 brass tubed lights surrounded by a geometrical patterned center. Each light fixture can be pushed inside its tube to suit different lighting effects and types of bulbs. This lamp does have its original label inside the canopy. It is in a very good vintage condition with signs of age and use. A true eyecatcher!
