This table lamp, model Eclisse, was designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1965 and was awarded a "Golden Compass" in 1967. A beautiful design that adjusts the intensity of light through its rotating inner shade that “eclipses” the light source. In fact, with a fixed outer shell and a moveable inner shell the lamp can provide direct or diffuse light. The lamp can also be wall mounted. The Eclisse lamp is still in production with Artemide, although this is an earlier model. It is in a good condition, with signs of age and use. A switch can be added by us if wished for.
