This rare model 141 lounge chair was designed by Joseph-André Motte for Steiner (in France) in the 1950's. It was produced, under licence, by Artifort from 1955. Motte was a French furniture and interior designer who was one of the most influential and innovative figures that influenced post-war French design. The chairs are both in a very good condition, with minor signs of age and use. They have been reupholstered recently in the high quality 'Nevada 02' fabric from De Ploeg; a fur-woven fabric in wool. This fabric has won the innovation award 2012. The yarns in these color effects create a beautiful effect. Seat height: 40 cm, seat depth: 45 cm.
