The 'Staatsmijnen' (translated: State mines) chair was designed by Rob Parry and Emile Truijen in 1955. These chairs were only made for the new office of the Dutch State Mining Company (nowadays DSM) at that time. We have a set of 2 chairs available with a solid steel frame and dark blue woolen upholstery. These chairs are in a good condition, with signs of age and use. Very collectible piece of Dutch design and also comfortable chairs to have! Seat height: 46 cm.
