This umbrella holder is in a very good and restored condition. We found this umbrella holder to be from Spectrum and a design by Willem van Gelderen. We purchased it from the first owner who lived in Giethoorn. A similar model, with 9 rods, was called model 'Giethoorn'. The oak has been checked and cleaned all over. The bottom is out of lacquered metal with patina from usage. It shows some resemblance with the designs of Ercol.
